Well I guess it’s time to pay attention. This has always been one of those things where I am just about to get a regular habit of posting and it doesn’t happen. But as I’ve said that is about to change. I’ve recently started paying attention (as I’ve said) and now I will start using the power of WordPress and we shall see!

Well October is an important month. Breast Cancer awareness and Think Pink in Shasta County. On 10/15 the Think Pink organization gave out their “bag-o-goodies” as they’ve been doing for a number of years now. In the bag this year was a “Think Pink” calendar and I had two photos (October 2009 and February 2010) in the calendar. Here is a photo that I took this last Sunday that may well be a nice one for next year’s version.

Talk like a pirate day! Well I did some of that today and lots of work today. We have a pirate theme at work so it seemed befitting to wear the garb. Hope everyone had a wonderful day and has a great weekend.

Shasta Dam

I happened to get out to Shasta Dam the other day and realized that since I’ve started getting serious about photography I didn’t have any dam photos. Here’s one taken with the little Canon P&S that came out OK. At the sky was decent for a change.
We took a walk down the new trail that connects the dam area with Quartz Hill Road. Nicely done trail.
