Loved the look of the clouds today during my afternoon walk around work. Put on a circular polarizer today for my walk.

I had to turn around and find a place to get a shot of this cloud. It was just too interesting to resist. I believe there were some thunderstorms this day as there often is over Mt Lassen.

We had quite a storm today and it was quite beautiful once it was done. A little snow going on at Shasta Bally as can be seen. Another view from the old office window but the cloud was too cool. A couple of passes with Topaz Adjust for the post here.

Busy days. Busy nights. Doesn’t give a whole lotta time to take shots and make shots. Here is the first out of the office window with the new camera. Some post with Topaz too.

Had some nice rain today and this is how it looked afterward. Nice clouds.

Got out for a short walk with the camera today. The sky was dark and stormy looking but no rain.
I used Silver Efex Pro in the post-processing to get this great holga looking photo.

It has been and is still trying to be a nice winter with a fair amount of rain. Let’s hope it makes it to the top.

Another in the series and because it was easy. Thursdays are another day that is usually quite busy and when the stormy weather is here and the days are short then the view from my office window is kind of nice at times.

We have big storms here this week and maybe next. For the second day in a row I just pulled out the little Canon point and shoot and was too lazy. The result of a quick picture out of the office window and the stormy weather and forgetting to check the white balance was a really bad picture. So I just photo-shopped the heck out of it to make it look even worse.
On a different note I just have to mention the company FlashZebra. I’ve purchased a little optical slave from them and I am a little unsure about how well it works but I am totally sure about one thing and that is the great customer service that Lon, at FlashZebra, provides. He has tested another one of these units and has shipped it out to me before I’ve even returned the questionable unit to him.
One thing for sure in the future, if FlashZebra carries it, I will order from them. It’s absolutely refreshing to deal with such a customer centric and caring company.
So hopefully tomorrow I will get the real camera out and try out the new RadioPopper system. Of course I know it works or at least the test button fires the flash.

Another sunset and so soon. It is easier sometimes when it is a busy day and the days are still rather short. Since my office window faces the West I do get tempted some nights when the colors are cool. It is always a bit of a challenge too to try to get a sharp photo hand held. I tried to do most of these with my lens up against the window to minimise shake. Not too bad I guess.
